What A Year We've Had!

The end of the year is quickly approaching and we would like to thank you for your support through the years. Supporters like you are the reason Prevent Child Abuse America is able to continue our work to promote the healthy development of children and their families.

With your help, we have been able to promote over 650 prevention strategies, including the creation of a bullying technical assistance center and a child sexual abuse prevention center.

By speaking with the public and community members, we have been able to address what YOU can do to prevent child abuse and neglect. By taking the time to educate yourself about prevention, volunteering, and raising awareness, you have been keeping the conversation about prevention going in your neighborhood.

With the holiday season upon us, it is important to reflect on the people and experiences that have shaped our lives. Prevent Child Abuse America's 2012 National Conference

October 12-15, Jacksonville, Florida

As Prevent Child Abuse America celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2012, it will offer a conference unlike any other. From October 12-15, Prevent Child Abuse America will integrate emphases on healthy child development, public policy, what's working in child abuse and neglect prevention, and the latest on messaging and corporate responsibility.

Recognizing that each of us has a role to play in the healthy development of our nation's children, the conference will blend hands-on training for professional who work with families and run non-profit agencies, with broad discussions of the impact our work has on the neighborhoods and communities in which we live, and the future of our country as a whole.
