More America's Giving Challenge. Please join us for a one-day push starting this Thursday, October 29th.

As you know, Prevent Child Abuse America is competing in the America’s Giving Challenge through the Causes application on Facebook. Again, they are awarding daily and overall cash prizes for the Causes that receive the greatest number of donations - not raise the most money - during this 30-day challenge.

So if anyone is considering making a $50 donation, for example, we ask that they be made as $10 gifts over five days so we can get credit for five gifts instead of one.

To try to win a $1,000 prize for generating the most donations in a 24-hour period, we would like to ask everyone to consider making a gift between 3:00pm ET on Thursday, October 29th, and 3:00pm ET on Friday, October 30th. Your gift could be as little as $10; what’s important is generating the most donations over that 24-hour period to win the prize.

To further increase our chances of winning the day, we hope you will send this to others as well!

To participate is easy:

Go to Society Against Child Abuse, the Cause for which we’re the beneficiary.

Once on the Society Against Child Abuse page, you can do any of the following:

Click on the green “Donate” button about halfway down in the middle to make a gift (log-in if you’re a Facebook user). If you don’t have a Facebook profile, you can still help us win! Just click this link and your donation will count toward our goal.

Click on the green “Tell Friends” button halfway down at right to spread the word.

Click on the green “Join Cause” button at top left if you want to become a member of SACA.

So mark your calendars for this Thursday afternoon or Friday morning and help spread the word!
