1. Develop a national strategy for prevention.
2. Enact Federal home visiting legislation.
3. Increase Federal funding for child abuse and neglect prevention services.
4. Reauthorize the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act.
5. Increase Federal investments in the full continuum of child welfare services.
6. Enact Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention legislation.

The 2009 West Virginia YouTube Youth Forum Contest is here. And quite cool. Check it out.
This is quite a cool thing. Prevent Child Abuse West Virginia is hosting the 2009 WV YouTube Youth Forum Contest which gives West Virginia students an opportunity for their voices to be heard by presenting questions to West Virginia's lawmakers via video. We hope you will take a look and we hope you will explore how you might replicate this in your own state or community.
