Prevent Child Abuse America Podcast, Episode Eleven - A Conversation with Doug Evans, Professor and Director of Health Communication and Marketing.
We recently had the great pleasure to run our follow-up BECAUSE Kids Count! Evaluation Summit and one of the presenters was W. Douglas Evans, Ph.D., Professor and Director of Health Communications and Marketing at The George Washington University. Dr. Evans is a wonderful speaker with a wealth of information and so we asked him if we would take a moment to record a podcast with us. We discussed how he defines health communications and marketing, examples of successful health communication and marketing campaigns and how we might begin applying what he and others are learning in this area to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. We want to thank Dr. Evans for taking the time to meet with us and we hope you enjoy the podcast.

Prevent Child Abuse America's Pinwheels for Prevention page is live - Check it out.
Our intent is to build a micro-site that captures all things related to our Pinwheels for Prevention campaign, what's going on, what you can do to participate, and on and on, and we plan to have that site up by the end of the year. For now though we have built a Pinwheels for Prevention page on our website and we hope you will take a look. It's a start and we couldn't be more excited about it.
